Terms of use

Last updated:

These terms describe use of Plainer at plainer.app. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. Questions can be sent through our contact page.

The service and its cost

Plainer is free to use. Planning, files, Calendar and the assistant need no payment, and you do not need to bring an AI API key. The optional hosted assistant is subject to usage, availability and capacity limits. Manual planning remains available when assistant capacity is reached.

Plainer helps organize tasks, projects, files and time. Google Calendar is an optional read-only connection. Assistant output and generated commands or views can be incomplete or wrong. Review proposed changes and code before using them, and use Undo or an export when needed.

Plainer Pro (optional)

Where it is offered, Plainer Pro is an optional subscription that adds an assistant allowance reserved for your account, separate from the shared free capacity. The allowance is smaller during the free trial. It costs $8 a month or $72 a year, including sales tax where it applies, and starts with a 14 day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. After the trial, the subscription renews each month or year until you cancel.

Pro is sold by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which processes payment, tax, receipts and refunds under its own terms. Manage or cancel Pro from Settings (Manage or cancel Pro) or the link in your Dodo receipt. A cancellation that takes effect at the end of a paid period keeps Pro until then. Pro allowances still have daily and monthly limits, and the planner stays usable without Pro. Cancel Pro before deleting your account so you are not billed again.

Your account and content

Keep your sign-in credentials private and use only accounts and content you are entitled to access. You retain your rights in content you enter. Plainer processes that content to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy.

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, abuse, harmful code, attempts to access another account or bypassing security or usage limits. Accounts used to harm the service or others may be restricted.

Marketplace and integrations

Publishing a Marketplace template makes the selected configuration and included sample records public. Share only material you have permission to share and review the preview for private information. Other users may keep installed copies after you unpublish. Third-party sign-in, Calendar and AI services have their own terms and availability.

Availability and leaving

Features can change or be temporarily unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free assistant output. Keep your own exports of important information. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You can stop using Plainer, disconnect Calendar, export your workspace or delete your account using its controls. Active deletion, backups and recipient-held copies follow the separate retention details in the Privacy Policy.

Updates and contact
